V. Ships presence in India was established in 1984 at which time a manning agent was appointed to process officers & crew to embark on Company managed vessels.
India is one of the major recruiting centre for the V. Ships group hence we opened our own office in 1997. The Mumbai office is the head office for India with a staff strength of 40 and we have branches in New Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Kochi and Kolkata.
We have an in-house training centre in Mumbai which conducts various value added courses, CBT courses and also tailored made courses for various owners / ship specific. The training centre is also an approved Marlin English language testing centre.
At present we have approx 1600 positions on 100+ vessels and increasing each day. It is our endeavor to make V. Ships the first choice for the Indian seafarer and we hope to achieve this in the near future.
V. Ships India Pvt. Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the V Ships group and headed by Capt. Rajesh Tandon, Managing Director.
