V Group established its Shanghai Office in September 2002, to provide Chinese Seafarer manning services to in-house and third party clients.

  • Geographic Location – Shanghai is located at the central Part of China, accessible to most parts of China within 2 hours flight, which provide convenient connections for in/out of China.
  • Culture – General attitude of most Shanghai population are more mature than other parts of China, open minded to western management styles and modern technologies, and improving in a tremendous speed.

  • Payment of Seafarers salary – we have arrangement for all seafarer contractual wages are paid onboard their vessel in USD.
  • Monthly remittances are arranged for each individual at their own wishes to their designated Bank Account in China.
  • Proper ITF affiliated unions coverage for Hong Kong registered vessel manned with Chinese Seafarers.

    Our Shanghai Manning Office is accredited under ISO 9001-2000 standard by Lloyds Register.

    With the efforts of International Shipping, standard of Chinese Crew are becoming more professional, and more Owners/Operators are looking into this resource. Meantime, PRC crew are mainly for service onboard dry bulk fleets. As of now we have around 100 Chinese Seafarers serving onboard Bulk Carriers, General Cargo Vessels and Full Container Carrier.
